One Miracle Closer
We just got a completely unexpected check today for $650. We’re one miracle of provision closer to reaching our salary for next month. This never gets old 🙂

I spent the day with a phenomenal 22 year old leader. He is a friend of mine (to remain nameless) that is considering a huge move in his life. We spent the day together dreaming of the way ministry can look like in the future. I was challenged by his capacity to dream God-sized dreams. I was challenged by the fact that there was no fear in his voice as he articulated the huge things that God has placed in his heart.
I am a dreamer. A visionary. I love to look out on the horizon and believe God for the impossible. If you have a God-sized dream, chase after it and never give up. If you have a God-sized dream, read this.
Not sure how to say this other than to be very straight forward:
I trust God.
We have been stretched many times to believe for financial miracles, but never quite like this. We are one week away from April 1st and have only raised half of our salary for the month.
I truly believe that we will be able to share in a week another miracle of God’s provision. If you pray, pray for us 🙂
I have been listening to the song “God of This City” (by Chris Tomlin) for the past few weeks. I find myself driving around Charlotte praying and crying. This song has really hit a nerve with me and my heart breaks for this city.
I love the people here. I love Uptown Charlotte and all of the communities and neighboring cities. God has put a love in my heart for this town that I have never known. I believe with all my heart that the chorus of this song is so true:
Greater things are yet to come
Greater things are still be done in this city
Greater things are yet to come
Greater things are still to be done here
I believe that we have not seen the greatest miracles that God has in store. I believe we have not seen the amazing things that will go down in history as people respond to the love and relationship of Christ.
I love Charlotte.
I started today down one game to Dara in our epic in-house battle of our NCAA Tournament brackets. I have made a strong push, however, today and I’m really hoping that I can finally beat my wife in this competition that she OWNS me in annually.
