So blown away by the response from our community today for our landscaping/painting project at Elizabeth Traditional Elementary School. We had 80+ people (a combination of Center City Church, the PTA from ETES and a group of students from New Jersey on a missions trip to Charlotte) that came to pitch in, work hard and do something great for our neighborhood. We had a great time and made some serious progress. We’ll be back out there on Monday and Tuesday morning of this coming week to finish off this project and help beautify this school.
I love practically showing the community the love of Jesus. It doesn’t always have to be in the proclamation of his message with our voice. Our lives and actions speak so much louder and I think some great things were said today. We love Charlotte.
