Here’s a thought from a series of events today that simply made me smile:

We all have desires that are deep in our hearts. I know that I have dreams that I hold on to and reside deep my spirit. I love the idea that God not only wants to GRANT the desires of our hearts, but he is also the AUTHOR of our desires…

Psalm 139:13-16 – You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – and how well I know it. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.

He created me. He created my desires. I think God loves it when we see a dream that HE placed in our hearts come to pass. I am in a season of dreaming ridiculous dreams. There are so many facets of life that are connected to planting Hope Church and moving to Charlotte. I can just imagine how much God is pleased to see me realizing the dreams that HE has authored.

What an amazing author He is…
