In his letter to the Philippians, Paul gives a beautiful account of gratitude and a heart full of thanks.

**Philippians 1:3-6 – Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

I love this introduction to the book of Philippians. It shows the value that Paul placed on people. He wasn’t just grateful that the message of Christ was spreading. He was grateful for the people that God had brought into his life to share the journey and carry the message together. Some were with him daily. Some were far away. But all were connected in heart and spirit.

I am grateful today for Jesus Christ. All the good that is in my life today comes from him. I am grateful for my family and friends. I am grateful for the people God has placed in my life that have decided to share the journey of beginning Center City Church together. Some with us daily. Others far away. All connected in heart and spirit.

Thanks to all of you that are sharing the journey with Dara and I. I am so grateful today.
