I remember when I was younger I used to dream of one day being a pastor and having my own office with a nameplate on my door that said “PASTOR DAVID DOCUSEN”. The assumption is that this is the mark of making it.
Fast forward several years and I have an amazing office with a really cool nameplate. I am now leaving my office and my nameplate and moving to Charlotte. No office. No nameplate. Just the dream of bringing Hope to the Charlotte community.
Having a nameplate is way overrated.
