We are teaching on Christ-centered service to our community at Center City Church during the month of August. The series is called “I Love Charlotte.” It is so good for us to get our eyes off of ourselves and serve our community. It’s like medicine for our soul and a breath of fresh air for our community. Here’s the schedule of service projects for this month:
Monday – August 10
10:30am – Charlotte Rescue Mission
1pm – Elizabeth Traditional Elementary School (landscaping)
Wednesday – August 11
9:30am – Elizabeth Traditional Elemenatary School (landscaping)
Thursday – August 12
8am – Friendship Trays (serving 700+ meals to people in need)
1pm – Area 15 – Cleaning / free car wash at a local non-profit.
Saturday, August 14
9:30am – Habitat for Humanity – We will be serving at their storefront warehouse called “ReStore” where they sell items that are donated to then raise money for building houses for people in need.
Saturday, August 21
9:00am – Finishing the beautification and landscaping project at Elizabeth Traditional Elementary School.
Saturday, August 28
9:00am – Renovatus Church – Cleaning / landscaping at Renovatus’ new church campus.
