Happy Thanksgiving to all!
We started our Thanksgiving off in a very unique way. Our son, Jack (3), had to be admitted to the ER for observation last night. He was having horrible stomach pain and they feared his appendix may have been rupturing. I am thankful that after a very long night (finally to bed at 6am), it turns out that he just has a very stout stomach flu that was bringing some serious pain.
8am came pretty early with the kids up and excited for the day, but we are off to a great start. Breakfast, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and lots of activity in the Docusen home.
More than anything else, Dara and I (and our kids) are thankful for Jesus. Through his life, death and resurrection, we have found life, freedom and forgiveness. I am eternally grateful for my Savior.
