We got rained out at the school on Friday when we were painting the wall, so Saturday morning we headed back to finish the job. When we arrived, we noticed a large number of elementary aged students that were watching us intently. We assigned five people to finish the painting and the rest of us walked around the community and invited kids to an impromptu outreach right there in the middle of the street. We set up our puppet stage and did our program for the kids. I couldn’t believe it…after the program started, I started counting and found that there were about 150 people gathered in the street, around the corners, on their porches and looking through their window. Pastor Eric (from Renacir…the church we are working with) was able to invite them to his church and talk about the plans that God has for them.

After that, we split the group. Half went to an senior citizens home to play bingo (not kidding), the other half went with me to check out Parker’s new church plant.

That evening, Ginny spoke at a combined youth service with two youth groups in the area. She spoke an great message on freedom. Dan and Blake gave testimonies and both did really good. Another great day in the bag.
