What a crazy emotinal roller coaster the last two weeks have been.
We welcomed Baby Ben on Tuesday morning, came home on Friday and then my grandfather, Bernard Docusen, passed away on Sunday afternoon. I headed up to Michigan on Tuesday night and spent a couple of days with my family celebrating the amazing life of my grandpa. More to come on grandpa in an upcoming blog. An amazing man that lived an incredible life. You can click on the link of his name if you want to read about him.
I just got in last night to Charlotte and immediately went and worked a closing shift at Caribou. I woke up this morning and picked up my mom from the airport and she’ll be here for two weeks! Now I’m locking myself away in my home office and trying to catch up on two weeks of madness.
Hi my name is Kim. I work with Marilyn Shelton at the school district. I consider her a great friend. I just wanted to say how sorry I am for the passing of your grandfather. I never knew him personally but have heard countless stories from Marilyn about what a great man he was.The world is a better place knowing someone of his faith and character lived and touched so many lives among us. I will remember your family in my prayers and congratulations on the new addition. Babies truly are a gift from god!
