These past two months have been some of the most fulfilling and exciting times in my life. So much happening and God’s blessings are all around. But it has also been one of the most exhausting and challenging seasons I’ve ever experienced. I hit the wall this week. Totally spent.
I spent the entire afternoon at the Charlotte 24-7 prayer room. Absolutely amazing time spent with the Lord today. And I figured I would pass on a Scripture that God put on my heart as I was leaving.
**Isaiah 40:28-31 – 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. 30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;
31 but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Never underestimate God’s ability to speak to you when you are weak. He is the author of life and all strength is found in him. I feel alive, recharged and excited about the days to come. And the only difference between this morning and this afternoon is the fact that I broke away to simply spend time with God. His promises are true and sure.
But they who wait on the Lord…yet another absolutely beautiful truth found in Scriptures.
